I came home and went to see Joaquim in the crib. Skyler talking to Joaquim, "Do you remember this old man?" I ask Skyler, "so you think I'm old huh?" No Dad, you just look old.

Yasmeen finished off the rest of her teething pills, this time in one sitting. No wonder her speech was a little slurred.

I was informed today that after school starts my name will not longer be Daddy, it will just be Dad, and Mommy will be changing to Mom. I'm not sure where that rule started, but I guess it makes sense.

I went to play soccer with some friends. I took Skyler and he knew a bunch of the guys there. When we walked back to the car, Skyler started telling me all the good players, Doug and Scott. He then said to me, "Dad, I wish you were good". I guess he didn't see me when I made the assist.

We had a social event for Dental School Orientation tonight. Yasmeen decided to drink some drink after making a complete mess of herself with the Cheetos. Yuk she said. I looked down in the cup and realized it was a cup of beer someone had left 1/2 empty in front of her.

We decided to make a quick run up to the Outlet mall in Niagara to find some pants for school. When we got out, we make a quick trip through the McDonalds drive through to get some fries to get the kids ok for the 1/2 hour trip home. I had Skyler throw the garbage away, and in doing so, he got stung by a bug. He had two red marks and cried all the way home, blaming Yasmeen that it was her fault because she wanted to go to McDonalds.

In an attempt to document our lives, we'll be periodically updating this blog to remember, laugh, and cry over our journey through life.

We baked some brownies last night for a barbecue we'll be having later today. We woke up early to see that Yasmeen had already taken a knife to it, although we had put it on the stove. We initially wondered who it was, until we saw the chocolate faced Yasmeen. 2 hours later I came back from the Pediatric Dentist with Skyler, finding out that he had multiple cavities. I let him out his door in the back, but he left it open. As soon as Ana Lucia went to get in the car, she found Yasmeen covered in Red Koolaid mix, that we had left in the middle console. Her eye, mouth and hands were completely covered. When I put her in the tub to take a bath, she threw a bucket of water on me because she didn't like me telling her to not get into things.
